All job changes in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2

All class and job changes from 6.2.

With the release of Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2, many changes were made to jobs and classes. Most of these were quality of life changes, such as increases to tank enmity and healing regen. But just to make sure, you should check out the full list of job changes. Here’s all the job changes in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.2.

Tank Changes

Tanks have received more potency and tools for enmity generation to increase their ability to take and hold aggro.

General Tank Role Adjustments

  • Provoke - Enmity generated has been increased.

Paladin

  • Holy Spirit - Potency has been increased from 270 to 280.
  • Requiescat -  Potency has been increased from 540 to 560.
  • Blade of Faith - Potency has been increased from 420 to 460.
  • Blade of Truth - Potency has been increased from 500 to 540.
  • Blade of Valor - Potency has been increased from 580 to 620.

Marauder / Warrior

  • Maim - Potency has been increased from 130 to 150, and Combo potency has been increased from 280 to 300.
  • Storm's Path - Potency has been increased from 120 to 130, and Combo potency has been increased from 400 to 410.
  • Storm's Eye - Potency has been increased from 120 to 130, and Combo potency has been increased from 400 to 410.
  • Shake It Off - The effects of this action will now be applied more quickly.

Dark Knight

  • Abyssal Drain - Potency has been increased from 150 to 240.
  • Living Shadow - Effect duration has been reduced from 24 to 20 seconds. The simulacrum will now always attack the first target the player attacks after it is summoned. The simulacrum will no longer attack with Quietus. The simulacrum's Shadowbringer potency has been increased from 450 to 500. The potency of all simulacrum actions other than Shadowbringer has been increased from 300 to 350.

Gunbreaker

  • Brutal Shell - Potency has been increased from 120 to 130, Combo potency has been increased from 260 to 270.
  • Solid Barrel - Potency has been increased from 120 to 140. Combo potency has been increased from 340 to 360.
  • Jugular Rip - Range has been increased from three yalms to five yalms.
  • Abdomen Tear - Range has been increased from three yalms to five yalms.
  • Eye Gouge - Range has been increased from three yalms to five yalms.
  • Fated Circle - Potency has been increased from 290 to 300.
  • Bloodfest - Recast time has been increased from 90 to 120 seconds.
  • Hypervelocity - Range has been increased from three yalms to five yalms.
  • Blasting Zone - Potency has been increased from 700 to 720.
  • Double Down - Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 20% to 15%.

DPS changes

DPS was subject to some changes to Direct Hit and Critical Hit actions that made abilities that guarantee them better.

General DPS Changes

  • When under an effect that increases the chance to land a critical hit or direct hit, actions that are guaranteed to land a critical hit or direct hit will now deal increased damage.
  • The increase in damage is calculated based on the increased chance of landing a critical or direct hit.
  • When executing actions guaranteed to land a critical hit or direct hit, they will now deal increased damage based on the direct hit rate and critical hit rate attributes.

Dragoon

  • Jump - This action will no longer be replaced by Mirage Dive while under the effect of Dive Ready.

* Following this change, Mirage Dive must now be set to the hotbar separately.

* The recast timer of Jump and High Jump no longer affects the execution of Mirage Dive.

  • High Jump - This action will no longer be replaced by Mirage Dive while under the effect of Dive Ready.

* Following this change, Mirage Dive must now be set to the hotbar separately.

* The recast timer of Jump and High Jump no longer affects the execution of Mirage Dive

Samurai

  • Tenka Goken - Potency has been increased from 280 to 300.
  • Hissatsu: Kyuten - Potency has been increased from 110 to 120.
  • Hissatsu: Guren - Reduction in potency after the first target has been changed from 50% to 25%.
  • Kaeshi: Goken - Potency has been increased from 280 to 300.

Reaper

  • Slice - Potency has been increased from 300 to 320.
  • Waxing Slice - Potency has been increased from 140 to 160. Combo potency has been increased from 380 to 400.
  • Infernal Slice - Potency has been increased from 140 to 180. Combo potency has been increased from 460 to 500.

A new trait has been added

  • Death Scythe Mastery II - Level 84: Increases the potency of Slice to 320, Waxing Slice to 160, and Infernal Slice to 180.

Machinist

  • Rook Autoturret - Duration no longer increases to a maximum of 15 seconds and is now fixed at 9 seconds. Base potency has been reduced from 70 to 35. Potency now increases as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment, up to a maximum of 75.
  • Rook Overdrive - Base potency has been reduced from 320 to 160.
  • Potency now increases as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment, up to a maximum of 320.
  • Rook Overload - Base potency has been reduced from 320 to 160. Potency now increases as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment, up to a maximum of 320.
  • Automaton Queen - The Automaton Queen will now always attack the first target the player attacks after it is summoned. Duration no longer increases to a maximum of 20 seconds and is now fixed at 12 seconds. Potency of Automaton Queen actions now increase as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment.
  • Roller Dash - Potency now increases as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment, from a minimum of 240 up to a maximum of 480.
  • Arm Punch - Potency now increases as Battery Gauge exceeds required cost at time of deployment, from a minimum of 120 up to a maximum of 240.

Healer changes

Healers will now have a lot less to worry in dungeons as regen actions will no longer generate as much enmity.

General Healer Role Changes

  • HP restoration over time will no longer generate enmity with each tick of healing.

White Mage

  • Liturgy of the Bell - Effect duration has been increased from 15 to 20 seconds.

Scholar

  • Embrace - No longer generates enmity.
  • Seraphic Veil - No longer generates enmity.
  • Fey Union - No longer generates enmity when activating its HP restoration effect.

Astrologian

  • Redraw - The card drawn will never have the same Astrosign as the card presently held.
  • Minor Arcana - Action now changes to the drawn arcanum.
  • The following action has been removed: Crown Play

Sage

  • Action - Adjustment
  • Kardia - No longer generates enmity when activating its HP restoration effect.
  • Holos - The additional effect "Erects a magicked barrier which nullifies damage equaling the amount of HP restored" has been added with a duration of 30s.
