Final Fantasy XIV continues to update its online experience for players to enjoy with each passing update. The upcoming Newfound Adventure update brings several changes to how players can customize and highlight their characters.
On April 1's Letter from the Producer LIVE, Square Enix announced a new customization option for players to experience in Patch 6.1: Newfound Adventure. With Adventurer Plates, players can create an image to showcase their Warrior of Light in the job of their choosing for other users to see. This new feature enters its beta version during Patch 6.1.
Because this new feature is in beta, the team is actively tweaking how Adventurer Plates will function in Final Fantasy XIV, listening to player feedback on issues and hiccups in the new system integration.

Players can customize their characters' clothing, jobs, poses, and emotes in these Adventurer Plates in Final Fantasy XIV. Final Fantasy XIV Director, Noaki Yoshida, demonstrated this new feature during the Letter from the Producer LIVE stream.
Adventurer Plates will even appear during PvP's new mode, Crystalline Conflict, with each team member getting a card preview before matches begin.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1: Newfound Adventure also received a new trailer highlighting the new story content in the latest update on the Square Enix YouTube page.
