The developers of Final Fantasy XIV showcased the new Crystalline Conflict mode with an on-stream game during their Letter from the Producer LIVE show, even sharing the new customizable player card system that players can use to showcase their character before a match.

The Crystalline Conflict aims to reinvigorate PvP for Final Fantasy XIV's dedicated competitive fanbase, introduce new mechanics and maps, and tweak job skills in PvP for a more balanced experience.
