With the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, crafting jobs, as well as the combat classes, have had their level cap increased to 90. But if you’re a crafting fiend and looking to make some serious Gil in Final Fantasy XIV, you’ll want to level up your crafting classes as quickly as possible.
Luckily there are several methods that will help you level up your crafters as soon as possible. It should also go without saying that when you’re leveling, remember to eat any food for the +3% EXP bonus. Chilli Crab, in particular, is useful for crafting classes in Endwalker for its added bonus to stats.
Level up with Levequests
Levequests were a repeatable set of quests primary focus in the early days of Final Fantasy XIV. However, they were largely absent from Stormblood and Shadowbringers before returning for Endwalker.
Available from the NPC Grigge <Levemete>, at X: 12.1, Y: 13.4 in Old Sharlyan, Tradecraft Levequests provide a fantastic experience. What’s more, you can take up to 16 at a time and have a weekly cap of 100. This means you can grind through them for a huge amount of EXP, usually for just a small amount of resources.
Complete weekly challenges
Weekly challenges for crafters and gatherers are available in your Challenge Log, which is viewable in the Log section of your Menu. There are some incredibly simple challenges which each bag at least 599,200 experience, which scales with level, giving your more EXP you get higher level.
These are super simple: Craft 30 items, craft 20 high-quality items, and desynthesize five items—an easy way to earn a few million experiences for your crafters.
Use Custom and Studium Deliveries
As well as all the custom deliveries from past expansions, Endwalker has added a series of deliveries called the Studium deliveries. Based in the Studium in Old Sharlyan, these deliveries provide huge amounts of experience from crafting the required items and turning in the deliveries.
Sightseeing Log and Exploration
Crafters can receive bonus experience from discovering areas on the map obscured by fog and by completing the sightseeing log. If you’re able to, switch to a crafting class before claiming this EXP.
Crafting new recipes
Crafting any of the new recipes in Endwalker for the first time will give you a bonus experience. This means you can potentially receive hundreds of thousands of experience points just for working through all the recipes. However, this is very resource-intensive.
