Unlocking the Tales of Newfound Adventure in Final Fantasy XIV 6.3

The first step, if you haven’t already, is to complete the first quest in this quest series. This quest is called Shadowed Pasts and was released in Patch 6.2. It’s unlocked by speaking to Radiant Scout in Radz-at-Han (X: 4.8, Y: 11.9). Once you’ve completed this quest, the new quest in the series, Shadowed Pasts Once More, is unlocked by speaking to the Radiant Scout again at Radz-at-Han (X: 7.3, Y: 9.0).

This quest will see you continue to help the strange voidsent eye creatures and reward you with 1734 gil and the Somewhere in the World (Ambitions Writhe) Orchestrion roll. The quest, like the previous one, gives you some backstory on the nature of the Void and the creatures and lives that existed there prior to its fall.

This isn’t one of the most essential quests in the new patch, but it adds some interesting lore. These kinds of side quests are great for filling time between patches and are definitely something you should do once you’ve cleared some of the other content.
