Live Letters are essential viewing for Final Fantasy XIV fans, and the latest Letter from the Producer Live is set to be no exception. Announced April 28 on FFXIV’s official social media, the Live Letter is set to run on May 12.
Final Fantasy XIV 6.4 patch details
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXVII — featuring game director and producer Naoki “Yoshi P” Yoshida and global community producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi — will take place at 4:00am PT, so NA fans are in for a very late night or very early morning as usual. As per the post, it will feature details on Patch 6.4 Part 2 and “Miscellaneous Updates.”
The Live Letter is set to reveal more details about Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s upcoming 6.4 patch. It’s speculated this series will give more details about the final Pandæmonium: Anabaseios raids and new Criterion and Variant Dungeons, and perhaps most appealingly, teasers on the latest Main Story Quest additions.

Moreover, with the patch set to release in “Late May,” it’s heavily implied this Live Letter will also reveal the release date of the patch. And given it’s on May 12, lets hope the answer is “next week!”
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is entering the final phase of its patch cycle. With the 6.4 patch releasing in May and the 6.5 patch releasing later this year, Endwalker will be transitioning towards the next expansion in FFXIV late in 2023. Live Letters like this are a chance to get sneak peaks at upcoming content, so don’t be surprised if Yoshi P lets slip on some juicy details!
