Getting the new grades of Materia

The new Materia is acquired in a number of ways. It drops as loot in level 90 dungeons. Additionally, the new Materia can be extracted from weapons and gear with a level requirement of 81-90 that have reached the maximum Spirit Bond. Once gear has reached 100% Spirit Bond, you can obtain the Materia by right clicking the item and selecting Extract Materia.

Alternatively you can trade Cracked Anthoclusters and Cracked Dendroclusters with Materia Venders found in Endwalker cities for relevant Materia.

These can be obtained by completing daily Levelling Duty Roulettes or Alliance Raid Duty Roulettes while at least level 80 or above. You’ll receive one Cracked Anthocluster, and two Cracked Dendroclusters when you complete the duty.

Cracked Dendroclusters are traded for Grade IX Materia while Cracked Anthroclusters are used to purchase Grade X. These clusters can be used for any type of Materia, even crafting and gathering Materia.
