Square Enix announces application window for FFXIV Fan Festival 2023 tickets, and you don’t have much time

Apply for a ticket now for your best chance of attending!

If you’re a Final Fantasy XIV fan planning a trip to Las Vegas for the Fan Festival 2023, then you need to get applying for tickets now! As per a post released today on the FFXIV Lodestone site, there’s a new system in place for Fan Festival Tickets that you can apply for the chance to purchase tickets online, and beat the queues (in theory).

From there, a draw will be held, and selected applicants will receive a code to purchase tickets. This system is designed to give active Final Fantasy Players on the North American Data Center a bigger chance of getting tickets.

General Sales for unsold tickets after the player-exclusive ticket purchase period (the one you have to apply for) takes place one week after the player-exclusive purchases. The important dates you need to know are below:

  • February 17 to February 25, 11:59pm PT - Application for NA players
  • March 3 - Selected players receive code
  • March 6 - Selected players have access to the player-exclusive ticket purchases
  • March 15 - General ticket sales

Overall, this system aims to manage the expected huge demand for tickets to this first Fan Fest post-COVID. Tickets themselves will cost $199.99 and give you access for the duration of the event. In all sales periods, only up to two tickets can be purchased by any one person.

This new system seems slightly complicated, but should be simple enough once you’ve applied. Fan Fest Las Vegas will take place on July 28 to July 29, and you can see more details of the event on the official website. Head over to the Lodestone post to find the link to apply for tickets, and good luck!
