Fire Emblem Engage Dancer guide – How to unlock & best units

Dance the battle away.

Fire Emblem Engage features many classes to use as you engage in strategic battles across various locations. Many of these classes are gained automatically, but some must be unlocked before you can use them. This includes the Dancer, a powerful support class. This may leave you wondering how to unlock the Dancer class in Fire Emblem Engage.

How to unlock the Dancer class in Fire Emblem Engage

To unlock the Dancer class in Fire Emblem Engage, you must progress through Chapter 15: Dancer in the Ruins. Here you have the opportunity to recruit a unit named Seadall. You must do so to unlock the Dancer class, as this is his default class.

To recruit Seadall in Fire Emblem Engage, you must use Alear and the Talk action during Chapter 15. Have Alear speak to Seadall, and the Dancer will join your army. This is the only way to unlock the Dancer class, so if you miss this, then you will not be able to get this special class. Additionally, Seadall is the first male character that starts with the Dancer class in the Fire Emblem series.

Best Dancer Units in Fire Emblem Engage

Seadall is the best unit for the Dancer class in Fire Emblem Engage. The Dancer class is a must-have, as its signature ability allows the Dancer to give another unit an additional action in battle. The Dancer class primarily relies on Dexterity and Speed, making units with higher values in this stat a great choice, though it is hard to beat Seadall's skill with this class.

How to use a Dancer in Fire Emblem Engage

The Dancer is not the strongest class in a fight, but its ability makes it one of the most useful classes in the game. The Dancer's ability allows another unit to act again in battle, essentially giving them two turns. This is extremely powerful when combined with your stronger units making the Dancer the perfect support.

We recommend focusing on Skills that provide additional Dodge and Avoid, as this will increase your Dancer's survivability. Skills that provide passive healing are also a great choice, as the Dancer is somewhat frail. Keep your Dancer behind the front lines but close enough to grant your heavy hitters extra action.
