When you Synchro with them, you get one of them chosen randomly at the start of the turn. How to unlock Edelgard, Dimitri, & Claude in Fire Emblem Engage

To obtain Edelgard, Dimitri, & Claude in Fire Emblem Engage, unfortunately, the players will have to buy the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass. Unfortunately, this is the only way—no alternative method, such as unlocking them in-game. Nintendo has chosen to release this paid DLC pass on day one, and the favored House faction leaders' Emblems are regrettably locked behind a paywall.

Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass content

By purchasing Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass DLC, players will gain access to four release Waves scheduled to release throughout 2023. The first expansion wave will feature the following unlocks:

• Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude – Emblem Character (all three heroes are present in one ring)
• Tiki – Emblem Character
• Silver Card
• New Accessories
• Support Items
