How to unlock the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage

What lies in your future?

Fire Emblem Engage gives players a safe haven in Somniel, the home and sanctuary of the Divine Dragon. Here the player can engage in various mini-games, enjoy downtime, and speak to their characters. One mechanic you can use in Somniel is the Fortune Teller, which is not available at the start. This may leave you wondering how to unlock the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage.

How to get the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage

To unlock the Fortune Teller and have them appear on Somniel in Fire Emblem Engage, you must clear Chapter 15: Dancer in the Ruins. You must not only complete this level, but you must recruit Seadall by speaking to him with Alear. During combat, Seadall is a Dancer, but outside combat, Seadall acts as the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage. If you do not recruit Seadall, the Fortune Teller will not appear on Somniel.

How to use the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage

The Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage can only be used at night, so you must wait for nightfall or sleep in a bed until the time of day changes. You can find Seadall telling fortunes in the southwest corner of Somniel. If you visit during the day, you cannot use Seadall's fortune-telling abilities.

When you speak to the Fortune Teller, Seadall will give you a list of available characters. You can select one to see their concerns and what character they are thinking about. This is handy in raising support between your characters. You cannot always control what character a unit is thinking about, so don't be afraid to switch between units when getting your fortune told.
