The Fire Emblem series features many characters to meet and play, but you always take on the role of a main protagonist across the series. This could be a playable character or a strategist who does not participate in fights. This may leave you wondering who the protagonist in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is.
The protagonist in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is Shez. This is a new character in the series and much like Rowan and Lianna, the main characters in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Who is Shez in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes?
Shez is the new protagonist in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and is a mysterious mercenary. They appear to be at odds with Byleth, the protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Shez uses two swords and powerful attacks to fight, but it appears you may be able to change this class.
Other than that, not much is known about Shez. The new Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes trailer does mention that Shez "was meant to fade into the wave of history," implying that this may be an alternate timeline to the original Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Is Shez gender locked in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes?
Unlike the previous Fire Emblem Warriors, where Rowan and Lianna were two different gender locked characters, Shez is not gender locked. This means you can choose the male or female avatar for Shez when you start Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
