Fortnite has been piling up a nice collection of game modes and opportunities under their new brand of 'Find it in Fortnite,' from sweaty Fortnite Ranked to casual modes like Fortnite Festival. Now they are adding some comedy to the bunch with JokeNite.
The Fortnite Twitter team announced a brand new Epic-made creative map produced by Trevor Noah, a popular comedian, called JokeNite comedy club. Players can jump into this island by using the map code 6296-7829-6524.
This map will consist of mini comedy sets from four different comedians: Matthew Broussard, Marcia Belsky, Scott Seiss, and Preacher Lawson. They will appear as Fortnite versions of themselves on The Cheese Cannery stage.
We expect these will work a lot like the live performances from artists we've seen in the past. Despite being mini-sets, their actual voices will be mixed with some humorous animations from the characters to make it feel like they are really there virtually.
Even though some Fortnite players don't care to see another random creative map thrown into the bunch, this is a nice, chill map to hang out with some friends and take a break from that stressful, competitive scene. Plus, it's a fun way to hear from some of your favorite comedians. We might even see some more comedians added to the show in the future!
