Fortnite leaker claims a fan-favorite Goku skin is coming

Another Goku skin?

Goku may already be in Fortnite, but another version of him is set to arrive in May. Just in time for May 9's Goku Day, it's looking like Goku Black, as seen in Dragon Ball Super, will be making his debut in the battle royale. Here's everything you need to know about this.

Fortnite leaker claims Goku Black arrives May 9

Leaker GMatrixGames posted textures from the leaked DualParadox outfit and says that it will end up being the Goku Black skin. The leaker says this will be a different model than the current Goku skin, so it could end up being something players have to purchase instead of simply unlocking another variant.

Both ShiinaBR and HYPEX reposted the news. HYPEX even says this could be happening May 9 as that's Goku Day. It would certainly be a nice surprise for fans of the anime, as Dragon Ball characters are already running rampant in the game.

Will there be another Dragon Ball event in Fortnite?

Fortnite is in the midst of a month-long event that added a mini Battle Pass, new Star Wars quests, and skins, both new and old, in Item Shop. Even if Goku Black does hit the shop in the near future, the chances of an event accompanying him are slim due to the ongoing Star Wars festivities.

This would mean things like the Nimbus Cloud and Kamehameha Exotic are most likely not going to be added back, as that would mix them into a loot pool already featuring Star Wars weapons like blasters and lightsabers. While that could be fun, it would feel like a bit much, and we're better off waiting for a less busy time.
