Fortnite Mystique Challenges – How to get Shapeshifter Emote!

Each of the new Marvel outfits has a batch of Awakening Challenges that can be completed to earn yourself additional emotes, styles, back blings, or pets. Mystique is no different, and if you can finish these task you will earn yourself a built-in emote that will allow you to shapeshift into the outfits of people you eliminate!

To complete the Mystique Awakening Challenges, you will need to reach level 86 on your Battle Pass, use a phone booth, deal damage with different rarity pistols, and use an emote after getting an elimination. All of these in-game challenges require you to be wearing the Mystique to complete. If you can finish all of these tasks, you will be rewarded with the Shapeshifter emote that allows you to borrow the appearance of the last opponent you eliminated!

Reach Level 86 on the Battle Pass

Getting to level 86 will take you quite a while, but if you use the standard methods of leveling up you should reach it relatively easily. Make sure to do all of your challenges and try to collect XP coins. If you want some tips on how to level up quickly, check out our how to level up fast guide!

Use a Phone Booth as Mystique

There are not many phone booths on the map at the time of this writing. You can only find them at Doom's Domain, which you will find three different locations you can use. You'll need to watch out for Doctor Doom's Henchmen, but you can pretty easily use the phone booth that is outside of the main areas of the area.

Deal Damage With Different Rarity Pistols as Mystique

There's pistols of all rarities in the game right now, and you can use revolvers as pistols as well. You just need three different ones, and to deal damage with them. I'm not positive you need to do it in the same round or not, but if you do that would be more difficult. If you have to do it in the same round, it would be best to not do it in Team Rumble because you can't get common and uncommon pistols in it because everything is rare and above. Finding common, uncommon, and rare pistols are going to be easier to locate than epic and legendary ones. Once you've gotten your pistols, you can head to a Quinjet or Doom's Domain and deal damage with them all on Henchmen or Stark's Robots.

There's no real trick to finding pistols, you just have to run around and find them on the ground or within chests.

Emote as Mystique After Eliminating an Opponent

Head into any kind of mode and get an elimination and emote right afterwards to complete the challenge! Once you do you will pull out your skull and shapeshift into the outfit that your opponent was wearing. This is a fun way to get to wear some outfits you might not own and have always wanted.
