Event Schedule & Basic Info

Each tournament is being hosted in two rounds, once on Oct. 2, 2021, and again on Nov. 11, 2021. At the moment, there is no information about when the event runs on these dates other than that Fortnite will host all regions at the same time. However, usually special tournaments like this run from 5pm CST to 8pm CST. This is a Solos tournament, so be sure to practice alone and bring your best game!

Entry

Entry into this tournament is easy. The only major guidelines you need to follow fall under Age, Account Status, Competition Rank, and Platform. These are explained in the short-list below:

  • Platform: This tournament is only available to Fortnite players playing on a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.
  • Age: Anyone wishing to participate must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have a parent's permission to participate.
  • Account Status: To participate in any tournament on Fortnite, your account must be in good standing and have 2FA Enabled.
  • Competition Rank: This tournament does not require players to be of any specific rank to enter. However, you must have an account level of at least 30 to compete.

Note: Players in Japan are not eligible to enter the PlayStation Cup.

Placement & Scoring

Since this tournament is hosted in two rounds, the placement, and scoring work differently than normal.

  • Round 1: This round works the same as most tournaments in which the players with the most points accumulated across all viable matches they play are given the rewards. Viable matches are the first 10 matches played by each player. Only the top 100 players in this round advance to Round 2.
  • Round 2: This round takes place across six matches instead of 10. The point system largely remains the same, with the only difference being that eliminations in this round are worth two points instead of one.

Scoring System

  • Victory Royale: 30 points
  • 2nd: 25 points
  • 3rd: 22 points
  • 4th: 20 points
  • 5th: 19 points
  • 6th: 17 points
  • 7th: 16 points
  • 8th: 15 points
  • 9th: 14 points
  • 10th: 13 points
  • 11th - 15th: 11 points
  • 16th - 20th: 9 points
  • 21st - 25th: 7 points
  • 26th - 30th: 5 points
  • 31st - 35th: 4 points
  • 36th - 40th: 3 points
  • 41st - 50th: 2 points
  • 51st - 75th: 1 point
  • Each Elimination: 1 point (Round 2: 2 points)
