If you've been looking to level up your Fortnite Battle Pass and are completing some quick challenges then might have come across the superpower eliminations challenge. This is a bit difficult to do right now, because there's currently only one boss on the map with superpowers that you can take. So, if you'd like to complete this task, you will likely need to fight off some players, henchmen, and even a superhero in the process!
To complete the superpower eliminations quick challenge, you will need to head to Doom's Domain. This is located where Pleasant Park used to be, and is currently the only spot with real henchmen and a boss. You will encounter Doctor Doom at this location, which you will need to eliminate and then equip his abilities! Once you have them, you will now need to eliminate some opponents to complete the challenge.
Once you head into Doom's Domain, you will want to be careful of any henchmen loitering around. You can jump into a telephone booth to disguise yourself, or you can just blast your way through. Doctor Doom is generally found at the house he's made his residence which is at the very northern part of the map. This is directly north of the big Doctor Doom statue that can be found in the center. Be careful when fighting him because he can use his powers, and his bomb will set structures on fire! Once you take him down, you can equip either of his abilities and use them to eliminate players. You can also use these on some leftover henchmen, because they will count towards your eliminations total.
The reason this challenge is difficult right now is because Doctor Doom is the only boss on the map and many players are landing at the location. This means you will likely need to fight through players, henchmen, and Doctor Doom just for a chance to get the powers!
If you really wanted to make this easy on yourself, you could always jump into a bot lobby. This allows you to play only against bots, but it does require you to have access to a second device that can run Fortnite on it. You can find more details in our guide.
While this challenge is particularly frustrating at the moment, it will hopefully get easier as the season progresses. There's a lot of new bosses expected to be added to the map, and a lot of the POIs are likely to be taken over by them. I would expect in every patch that we see an updated POI and hopefully a boss with some additional powers to use!
