Fortnite x Coachella event potentially coming this month

Fortnite is known for its epic collaborations and events that keep players excited and busy completing unique quests and challenges in-game and earn special rewards. Last year, players collected some fun, summery Coachella skins, and festival prizes to show off in-game. This year we might be seeing another Coachella event with more exclusive challenges and rewards, and it is rumored to kick off as soon as the Spring Breakout event is over.

Fortnite x Coachella collab event - Everything we know

Coachella is one of the most well-known music festivals in the world, so it isn't surprising we would see another excellent collab for Fortnite, including some themed skins and items to show off in-game and some challenges for players to complete. The festival begins on April 14 and continues to April 23, and according to sources, this would be around the same time we would see an event kick-off for players to complete as well.

The source, iFireMonkey, a well-known Fortnite leaker on Twitter, did some digging into Fortnite's code and believes the Fortnite x Coachella event will begin April 13 and continue to the 23rd, almost lined up perfectly with the actual festival. Like previous events in the past, this event would be on a separate collab website, specially made to host the event. All the details and challenges to complete to earn exclusive event rewards will be on the site.

So far, we know one exclusive reward is available to win by completing a particular task: the Coachella Island Loading Screen. However, we assume there will be plenty of other goodies to gain since there are presumed to be about two weeks' worth of challenges for players. To claim them, players will most likely have to link their Fortnite accounts and complete the tasks the website shows.
