How to acquire the Zero Point Pretzel effect in Fortnite

A salty treat with a bizarre effect!

Fortnite is one of the best battle royale games due to its constantly evolving content and continuous new surprises. Their changing seasons and special events are exciting times for players, allowing them to earn fun rewards and unlock unique skins and accessories. One of their most memorable events is Fortnitemares, which will enable players to get in the spooky Halloween spirit with tons of fresh content and epic rewards for completing some challenges. With Fortnitemares, some tricks and treats on the Island, such as the Zero Point Pretzels.

Where to find Zero Point Pretzels in Fortnite

The Zero Point Pretzels are only obtainable in specific locations, so you must plan accordingly when landing on the Island and look in the right spots. To complete the challenge, eat your Pretzels one by one as soon as possible after acquiring them to avoid confrontations with opponents.

Chrome Punk

One of the easiest ways to acquire some Zero Point Pretzels is to buy them from Chrome Punk. You should have another challenge to dance with him already, so this way, you can knock out two challenges in one go. He is seen wandering around Flutter Barn in the smaller eastern building. You can buy the Pretzels from him for 120 Gold Bars each, so you may have to save up a little beforehand.

Candy Buckets

If you don't have any Gold Bars to spare, you can also find them in Candy Buckets. These are Halloween props added around the world in various locations, mainly next to shops and businesses or residential areas on the Island. You can find three or more of these buckets right in Chrome Crossroads, as shown in the picture above. You aren't guaranteed to find a Pretzel each time you search these containers, so you may have to try a few times.

What does the Zero Point Pretzel do in Fortnite?

The Zero Point Pretzel is a treat with a little trick. They work like a Zero Point fish, giving you those Zero Point gravity effects. This allows you to dash forward, land on your feet without fall damage, and get around more quickly.

  • Double tap Spacebar to Dash on PC
  • Double tap X to Dash on PlayStation
  • Double tap A to Dash on Xbox

Since they can enable you to travel more distance in less time, they can be highly beneficial for making an escape from impending enemies, tracking them down, or getting into the next circle before the storm closes in.
