How to Craft a Mechanical Explosive Bow in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

In the new Season of Fortnite Chapter 2, we have been given a new mechanic to explore: Crafting! Crafting has affected Bows, in particular, and has given them many alternative forms. This has massively changed their functionality and versatility! In this guide, we're covering how to make a Mechanical Explosive Bow.

How to Craft a Mechanical Explosive Bow

When crafting Bows, they all seem to follow one set path for rarity. Makeshift Bows are always Uncommon rarity, Mechanical Bows are always Rare rarity, and altered Mechanical Bows are always Epic rarity. To craft the Mechanical Explosive Bow, you'll need the resources listed below.

• 1 x Mechanical Bow
• 6 x Grenades

Mechanical bows can be crafted with one Makeshift Bow and four Mechanical Parts. However, you can also come across them as random loot from Chests, Boss NPCs, or even other players. Once you have the Mechanical Bow and the Grenades, you'll be ready to craft a Mechanical Explosive Bow.

Enter your in-game Inventory menu. From there, make sure you have the Mechanical Bow selected in your inventory. In the image above, you'll see what you can craft with the materials you've collected. In this case, we've selected the Mechanical Bow, and chosen to upgrade it to a Mechanical Explosive Bow.

Select Craft. When you do this, you will automatically exit the Inventory menu and your character will take a few seconds to complete the action. Congrats, you now have a Mechanical Bow!
