How to hunt Zombies or Zombie Chickens in Fortnite

Fortnite is one of the best battle royale games due to its ever-evolving content that allows players to experience new exciting features, create their own game modes in creative play, and attend unique events. One of the most loved events in Fortnite is Fortnitemares, which gets players into that spooky festive feel for Halloween. Not only are there new challenges and unique rewards, but there are some mysterious arrivals around the Island, from bosses to Halloween decor and even zombies.

Where to find Zombies and Zombie Chickens in Fortnite

Zombies and Zombie Chickens are on the Island for Fortnitemares, and it's your job to hunt them down. The sneaky undead only pops up in specific locations. However, the nice thing about this challenge is that you can choose which you'd rather hunt, Chickens or Zombies, or whatever you can find first. Chickens can be easier to find since they can roam all around the map and in abundance, especially around the desert biome. Zombies are stuck to a few locations in which they can spawn.

• Grim Gables
• Willow's Haunt - Southwest of Rave Cave
• The Knowby Cabin - West of Reality Tree

The most accessible place to land to knock out this challenge is Grim Gables since it's a bigger named location and will have Zombies in larger quantities. You can even find one or two Zombie Chickens there wandering around. However, you will also run into more opponents in this location. You can sneak off to Willow's Haunt or Knowby Cabin for a better chance of survival.

Once you find the Zombies, they are relatively easy to kill. Just watch your back since they can spawn in behind you. You should be able to hear the growl and see a flash of purple as they do. Try to have a weapon on you as soon as you land and aim for headshots to take them out faster. Not only are you ensuring your survival by hunting them, but you are completing another Fortnitemares challenge and are a step closer to getting those spooky rewards!
