How to win the Alien Mothership mini-game in Fortnite?

Get Abducted and Start the matches with High-Tier loot in Fortnite!

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7: Invasion has seen its first major update and it has introduced some really big impactful changes to the game. The most noticeable change would be introducing non-destructible Big UFOs, which abduct players from certain places on the map. These UFOs shouldn't be confused with the drivable UFOs which are present in the game.

With the high alien threat on the island, it seems like aliens aren't that bad after all. They are running experiments on players and rewarding them for doing good in the Mothership Mini-game. The Big UFOs have jump pads on them and players can land on top of them to open some chests and take some early fights.

How to enter the Mothership Mini-game in Fortnite?

The big Fortnite UFOs spawn at two locations at the start of the match and after the first safe zone forms, players under these Big UFOs get abducted and transported to the Mothership for a fun and rewarding mini-game. Players need to stay wary of opponents as they could be eliminated while getting abducted. Therefore, staying in the air till the first safe zone should be a good strategy.

After getting abducted, players will be kept in a cell with transparent windows to see other players participating in the mini-game with you. So feel free to showcase your glorious emotes and intimidate the opponents while you're at it.

How to win and earn high-quality loot from the Mothership mini-game in Fortnite?

When the mini-game starts, Players will have 1 minute 30 seconds to collect different orbs. There are two types of orb: Time Orb and Vault Orb. As the match starts, players will have to concentrate on the time orbs as time is an essential thing to have, which will be useful in the later stages of the mini-game. Players can see the remaining time on their backpacks.

The Time orbs are grey in color and they give five additional seconds to the player. On the other hand, the Vault orbs are golden in color and instantly upgrade the quality of loot that you'll be receiving at the end of the mini-game. Therefore, one golden orb upgrades your loot to green from grey. Another one to blue, purple and at the end golden tier/legendary.

Everyone will have access to a new weapon that shoots energy balls similar to the UFOs that can electrocute enemies and stop them from collecting orbs. It is best to use near golden Vault Orbs as it stops the enemy from collecting it and gives you a shot at claiming it for yourself.

After having four golden orbs, the player will automatically be transported to a room full of chests with legendary items, shields and materials for them. However, do keep in mind that the player has 20 seconds only to open most of these chests and collect whatever they can before getting rifted out of the Mothership to the island.

If the player cannot collect any golden orbs, they will be forced to have grey loot, but they will access shields and materials. It is not the best, but it could be worse.

The overall experience of the Mothership mini-game is very fun as it allows players to enjoy and have fun during the start of the match and when played well, they can have the best loadout to enhance their chances of winning the match in Fortnite.
