The Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion is scheduled to release July 19, bringing Hot Wheels to the racing title. During the Xbox Games Showcase Extended 2022, Forza Horizon 5 creative director Mike Brown shared some interesting details about the Hot Wheels expansion. This expansion brings a lot of new content, including new types of tracks, biomes, a Nexus suspended in the trees, and more.
Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels Creation Kit
Not only will players be able to race on Hot Wheels tracks, players will also be able to design tracks using the Hot Wheels Creation Kit, which includes the iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks, magnetic tracks, water flumes, and ice tracks. There are more than 80 track and stunt pieces in the exansion that can snap together like real Hot Wheels tracks.

Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels Biomes
There are four new biomes to race through in the Hot Wheels expansion. The Giant's Canyon is a desert landscape set in rugged, winding canyons, while the Ice Cauldron is a frozen tundra with lava surprises around every corner. The Forest Falls biome is suspended above the trees, and is where many of the iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks can be found. The Horizon Nexus is the meeting point for all cars in the Hot Wheels expansion and is one of the party locations for the Horizon festival.
