How to vote in the Game Awards 2021

Once again, it's that time of year when we evaluate all the games released over the past year and determine which ones stood out. The 2021 Game Awards are back again this December, and voting for its many categories has now opened. Here is how to vote in the Game Awards 2021.

Fans wanting to take part in voting for the various categories will want to head to the award show's official website. The website will require you to sign in with your Twitter, Facebook, Google, or Twitch account. Once you are signed in, click the big red Go Vote Now button on the website's home page.

This will take you to a page that gives you two options, Start Voting or View Categories. If you are looking to vote in all categories, go ahead and click Start Voting, going through each category and voting for your favorite nominee. However, if you are only wanting to vote in a handful of the 30 categories, click the View categories button, to pick and choose which categories you are voting in.

One of the categories fans can vote in is the coveted Game of the Year award. The award that is given to the absolute best game released this year. The Game of the Year's nominees are Deathloop, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet, and Clank: Rift Apart, and Resident Evil Village.

So if you want your favorite to win Game of the Year or any of the other awards, you will want to make sure you get your vote in before the polls close on Dec. 8 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. Also, there are plans to showcase over 40 games at the awards, so make sure you tune in to the show on Dec. 9 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT.
