According to leaks, Clorinde DPS is heavily dependent on the Bond of Life mechanic to buff her Elemental Skill, which serves as one of her primary sources of damage (second to her Normal Attack). The goal is to have a Bond of Life at over 100% of her max HP, so she benefits from weapons that can help her easily stack it.

• Absolution (best five-star, signature weapon) - This is Clorinde's signature weapon and her best-in-slot five-star pick as it offers a straightforward CRIT DMG boost and further increases DMG whenever the wielder's Bond of Life value increases.
• Finale of the Deep (best free-to-play four-star) - This free-to-play craftable weapon is Clorinde's best four-star pick as it offers an ATK boost and Bond of Life (25% of max HP) whenever the wielder uses their Elemental Skill. When the Bond of Life is cleared, Clorinde can get additional flat ATK bonuses.

Best Artifacts & substats for Clorinde in Genshin Impact

Based on Clorinde's leaked kit, her best-in-slot Artifact set is the Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy as it offers amazing bonuses for characters who rely on the Bond of Life mechanic. I strongly recommend farming for it if you're able to. Otherwise, Clorinde can also be paired with the universal Gladiator's Finale.

• Four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy (best-in-slot) - This set is Clorinde's best-in-slot pick as it offers an ATK bonus and an additional DMG bonus whenever her Bond of Life value increases and decreases. Clorinde can grant herself a Bond of Life and can be paired with a healer to decrease it.
  • This Artifact set can be obtained from the Faded Theater Domain in Fontaine.
• Gladiator's Finale - An alternative that offers an ATK boost and a Normal Attack DMG boost when the wielder is a sword, claymore, or polearm user.

Clorinde's kit is still frequently changing in the beta, so there's currently no certainty about her Talent upgrade priority. But with the current leaks, she would benefit from the following order.

1. Normal Attack: Marechaussee Creed
2. Elemental Skill: Hunt the Dark
3. Elemental Burst: Last Lightfall

As Clorinde's Elemental Burst is primarily used to grant her a Bond of Life, most of her damage output will come from her Normal Attack and Elemental Skill (which also converts to Normal ATK DMG, hence why it's ranked higher).
