Fandango

Although Scaramouche's name is rooted in the character archetypes of Commedia dell'arte, his name also reminds fans of the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. A particular lyric of this song, which reads, "Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the fandango" causes Genshin Impact players to chuckle. These lyrics inspired dozens of memes among the community, such as animations of the Traveler asking Scaramouche to do the Spanish folk dance. This name is sure to bring a smile to your face when it unexpectedly appears in dialogue.

A comedically normal name

The trend of naming your pet a common name never fails to make us laugh. The world needs more cats named Kevin, dogs named Jennifer, and invertebrates named Crunchwrap Supreme. There's something hilarious about the sheer normality of these names in the fantasy world of Genshin Impact. Rather than searching for a symbolic name in a different language, try naming Wanderer Robert or perhaps Kyle.

Arashi

This name means "storm" in Japanese, referencing both Scaramouche's Anemo vision and his lightning powers as the Balladeer. Although Scaramouche razed his surroundings like a tempest, as Wanderer, he seeks to amend these actions by clearing the debris and helping rebuild. The name Arashi pays homage to his dreadful past but also inspires hope, as a calm wind always follows storms.

Babygirl

The Scaramouche simps are at it again, coming up with creative names for their beloved boy. A significant portion of the community chose pet names for Wanderer's new identity, although we can't blame them. Seeing a name like "babygirl" or "hubby" pop up on screen during a serious moment is comedy gold. If you're looking to get a few laughs during the Genshin story quests, try naming Wanderer something like Senpai or Handsome.
