The Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas is an event that runs from Feb. 4, 2022, to Feb. 14, 2022. It takes you back to Chinju Forest, where the sealed bake-danuki Ioroi asks you to take the young Kichiboushi out on an adventure. Players Adventure Rank 30 and above who have completed the following quests are eligible to participate:
- Ritou Escape Plan (part of the Archon Quest Chapter II: Act I—The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia)
- Tanuki-Bayashi in the Forest (part of the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual World Quest)
Blazing Poetry
Blazing Poetry is the sixth part of the event. It will only unlock after you complete the first five parts in succeeding order:
- Snowswept Fairytale
- Solilioquy of Distant Island Peaks
- Two Cities' Recommendations
- The Wonders of Adeptal Amber
- One Hundred Sights of Dihua
When you're ready to start, head to the event menu and accept the Blazing Poetry quest. It starts in the west of Luhua Pool, where you enter a dialogue with Kichiboushi. He grows interested in the Flaming Flowers, so give him x1 Flaming Flower Stamen. This can be obtained by applying Hydro to any Flaming Flower and picking up its loot.
Once that's done, head inside the Pyro Regisvine cave and take a photo of Kichiboushi. After, you need to engage in battle with the boss and defeat it. However, you don't need to claim the battle reward and spend Resin. When the battle is finished, follow the quest marker to the glowing spot on the map to speak with Kichiboushi, completing the day's events.
