A Walk Through the Woods Genshin Impact web event guide

A Walk Through the Woods is a Genshin Impact web event where you can explore Sumeru and complete challenges along the way. It runs from September 29, 2022, to October 7, 2022, and is connected to the Gift of Encounter HoYoLAB check-in event. Make sure to do both to collect as many Primogems as you can!

Start by heading to the official web event page. Make sure you're logged into your HoYoverse account, which is also your Genshin Impact account. Select the correct server and character, as rewards are distributed via in-game mail.

How to participate in the Genshin Impact A Walk Through the Woods web event

This web event is an interactive dice game where you can play with Aranara and complete various Challenges to obtain snapshots and Adventure Coins. At the top of the screen, you can click on a picture icon to view all of your Verdant Memories, which indicate which encounters you completed in the web event. There are nine in total.

The money bag on the bottom right of the screen keeps track of your Adventure Coins. Click on it to claim rewards by collecting 300, 600, and 800 Adventure Coins in exchange for Primogems, plus additional rewards by unlocking snapshots.

Finally, you can click on the dice at the bottom right to move a couple of steps, depending on the number you roll. Once you run out of dice, click on the plus sign to complete any of the following tasks to claim more.

• Log in to the web event.
• Complete check-in.
• Visit the Anniversary Blessing of the Welkin Moon event.

The second and third tasks are connected to the Gift of Encounter HoYoLAB check-in event.

When you step on a tile with an Aranara or an enemy, you'll be asked to play a small Challenge. You'll unlock the snapshot corresponding to it and additional Adventure Coins if you complete it successfully. Meanwhile, finding a Chest will grant you special dice that you can use to complete challenges you have not yet encountered.

Don't forget to claim all your rewards by clicking on the money bag before the event period ends, as they can no longer be retrieved after. Rewards will be sent to your in-game main within five to ten minutes of claiming.
