Genshin Impact Emilie Farming Guide – All Talent & Ascension materials

Ying'er finally has some competition.

Genshin Impact's renowned perfumer, Emilie, is a five-star Dendro character who wields a polearm. Whether you love her for her beautiful design or utility as a sub-DPS unit, here's everything you need to farm to max out Emilie's potential.

Emilie Ascension materials & cost

Collect 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Emilie to Ascension level six, which I recommend doing to maximize her potential.

Local Specialty & Boss material

x168 Lakelight Lily

x46 Fragment of a Golden Melody

Emilie's local specialties are Lakelight Lilies, which are easily farmable in the areas surrounding the waters of Loch Urania and the Weeping Willow of the Lake. On the other hand, her boss material is the Fragment of a Golden Melody. You can farm it from the Legatus Golem in Remuria's Petrichor, an area that unlocks upon completing the first Canticles of Harmony World Quest.

Gemstones

x1 Nagadus Emerald Sliver

x9 Nagadus Emerald Fragment

x9 Nagadus Emerald Chunk

x6 Nagadus Emerald Gemstone

As a Dendro unit, Emilie requires Nagadus Emerald materials, which are dropped by all Dendro Normal, World, and Weekly Bosses, including, but not limited to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and Dendro Hypostasis. If you've run out of Resin to farm for these Dendro gemstones, you can alternatively convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn other any other Elemental gemstones into Dendro ones.

Common materials

x18 Meshing Gear

x30 Mechanical Spur Gear

x36 Artificed Dynamic Gear

Emilie uses the Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, and Artificed Dynamic Gear to Ascend. These can be farmed from Clockwork Meka all over Fontaine, including the underwater variations. You can also purchase the lower-tier items from Paimon's Bargains, which refreshes monthly.

Emilie's Talent level-up materials & cost

Prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to max out all three of Emilie's Talents.

Talent materials

x9 Teachings of Order

x63 Guide to Order

x114 Philosophies of Order

Emilie's Talent materials are the Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Order. These can be farmed from the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain northeast of Poisson, located in the eastern part of Fontaine. You must farm on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays to receive the correct materials.

Common materials

x6 Meshing Gear

x22 Mechanical Spur Gear

x31 Artificed Dynamic Gear

Common Ascension and Talent materials are always the same, so you'll have to farm extra Gears to level up Emilie's Talents.

Weekly Boss material & Crown of Insight

x18 Silken Feather

The Crown of Insight is a limited event reward that can usually be obtained by participating in major events that drop once every update. Emilie will also require the Silken Feather, which is dropped by The Knave Weekly Boss, which can be found in the Scattered Ruins Domain in Mont Esus East after completing Arlecchino's Story Quest.
