Genshin Impact: What happens on your birthday?

Genshin Impact takes everyone's birthdays very seriously, as evident by the plethora of presents you can receive from characters on their special days. Likewise, the Traveler's birthday is an important event—so don't forget to log in to receive a special gift!

When the birthday specified on your in-game profile comes around, you'll receive a Happy Birthday mail that contains a special item called Cake for Traveler. You have an entire year to claim it from the mail.

The Cake for Traveler can be found in the Precious Items section of your Inventory. Click Use to obtain a Fragile Resin and a copy of the Cake for Traveler, which you can safely keep as a souvenir.

Genshin Impact occasionally rotates the designs of their birthday cakes, so don't miss any of your birthdays to build your collection of special treats.

Birthday Greetings

You can enjoy birthday greetings from characters all year round. Access them by entering the character menu, selecting Profile on the lefthand panel, and clicking the Voice-Over button at the bottom right of the screen. Scroll down until you see the birthday voiceline to hear the character in question greet you (or sing for you!) anytime.
