Until the End of the World is a Genshin Impact World Quest set in Simulanka. You must face off against a dragon named Durin, whose roots trace back to the Hexenzirkel. The battle doesn't involve any actual fights, so you must rely on Simulanka's unique mechanics to defeat the dragon.
Genshin Impact Until the End of the World dragon battle guide
Upon starting the battle sequence, you will be forced to use trial characters. You can freely consume food to heal and revive, so don't worry about your team not having a healer or shielder! In the first phase, you can't deal any damage to the dragon, so simply avoid all of the projectiles to prevent death. This segment is an endurance battle and will end after avoiding the attacks for around one minute.
After the endurance battle, a cutscene and flashback will trigger. Once done, go to the elevator up the stairs and attack the device with Normal Attacks until you reach the window, which you must go through to enter the next stage.
Next, follow the path toward the castle-like entrance with the help of the floating bridge and bouncy blocks.
As soon as you enter the castle, pick up the toy bomb using the special interaction key.
Turn right and go up the stairs, then place the toy bomb in its designated spot on the toytanium block. The block will promptly explode, revealing a socket where you can slot in an Oracle Pillar.
Pick up the Oracle Pillar on the table using the special interaction key, then place it in its designated position on the ground using the Normal Attack button to make it usable.
Once it's slotted onto the ground, use the special interaction key to connect the Oracle Pillar to a higher platform, then interact with it to fly along the Magic Thread.
Once you've reached the upper platform, don't forget to claim the Common Chest beside the guard on the right. After that, go up the stairs to find a locked Exquisite Chest. Enemies will appear when you get close to it, so defeat the enemies to unlock the Chest.
After defeating the enemies, go further up the stairs to enter a clearing, then go up three more flights of stairs to face the dragon.
When the dragon sees you, it will fly up, so keep going up a few more flights of stairs until the dragon reappears. In this segment, you must dodge projectiles while running closer to the purple mist. Your goal is to get as close to the dragon as possible to trigger the next segment. Note that you can't attack it at this stage.
Once you've entered the purple mist, the scenery will change. Go up the platform with the help of the bouncy block.
Since the dragon has broken a segment of the bridge, use the special interaction key to bring out a bouncy block, then use it to get to the other side.
You need to pick up the Oracle Pillar behind the crates using the special interaction key. Then, place it on the plug at the edge of the platform to make the Pillar usable. Once it's slotted into place, use the special interaction key to connect the Oracle Pillar to an even higher platform, then interact with it to fly along the Magic Thread.
From there, go up the stairs and enter the purple mist to enter another battle sequence against the dragon.
You can't defeat the dragon from this distance, so head right and use the bouncy blocks to get to the wooden platform. Be careful as projectiles will be thrown your way as you jump along the blocks.
The dragon will keep throwing projectiles, so try to avoid them as much as possible. Your goal is to pick up the toy bomb on the block, and then throw it into the dragon's mouth. To do so, wait for the dragon to open its mouth, then press and hold the Normal Attack button to aim inside the mouth. Release to throw the bomb and force the dragon to fall. If you fail, you can try again.
When the dragon has disappeared, go toward the broken path and jump onto the higher clearing with the help of the bouncy blocks. Projectiles will keep coming at this stage so try to avoid them.
Upon entering the clearing, you will trigger a mini-game that involves dodging projectiles in bird's-eye view.
After the mini-game, the dragon will reappear. Climb the crates on the right using the ladders, then use the bouncy block to get to the upper platform. You can't go up the crates without using the designated ladders, so make sure to use them! The dragon will also attempt to step on you as you climb up, but you can easily avoid getting hurt by dodging the red indicators on the ground.
Upon reaching the platform, don't forget to claim the Exquisite Chest. When you're ready, keep going forward to enter the final battle segment against the dragon.
The dragon will first barrage you with attacks all at the same time: throwing projectiles, stomping, and slashing its claw. Avoid the projectiles and red indicators on the ground to not get hit!
After a few minutes, a toy bomb will appear on the right side of the clearing. Pick it up using the special interaction key and throw it into the dragon's mouth. Like before, wait until the dragon opens its mouth, then press and hold to aim, and release to throw the toy bomb. Projectiles may block your path and cause your throw to fail, but you can try again. If you succeed, the dragon will be defeated, and you can proceed with the rest of the quest.
