How to farm Hero’s Wit in Genshin Impact

Part of Genshin Impact's gameplay involves collecting and building characters with the help of various resources—including level-up materials. While characters can get EXP by defeating enemies, the amount is minuscule, so you'll find that level-up materials are absolutely necessary to build characters within a reasonable amount of time.

There are three kinds of level-up materials: Wanderer's Advice, Adventurer's Experience, and Hero's Wit. Out of the three, the third is the most useful as it provides 20,000 character EXP. With that said, read on to find out how to farm Hero's Wit in Genshin Impact.

Best ways to farm Hero's Wit in Genshin Impact

Realm Depot

Head to the Serenitea Pot and speak to Tubby to access the Realm Depot, where you can buy 20 Hero's Wits for 120 Realm Currency each. Their stock refreshes every week, so don't forget to make the purchase before the server resets on Mondays. You need 2,400 Realm Currency to buy all 20 Hero's Wits per week. Meanwhile, Realm Currency can be farmed by increasing your Serenitea Pot Trust Rank and emptying out the Jar of Riches every few days.

Ley Line Outcrop

There are various Ley Line Outcrops scattered across Teyvat, identifiable by an icon that looks like a ball of Anemo. There are a few kinds of Ley Line Outcrops, but watch out for Blossoms of Revelation, which you can interact with to spawn enemies. Defeat the enemies to spawn a Ley Line Blossom that you can interact with to exchange Original Resin or Condensed Resin for rewards—including Hero's Wits.

It's highly recommended to wait until World Level 6 or higher to get the maximum possible rewards (4 to 5 Hero's Wits per round). You can also wait for a Ley Line Overflow event to get double rewards.

Other ways to farm Hero's Wit in Genshin Impact

Apart from the two methods above, there are a few other ways you can get Hero's Wits in the game. While these methods are a little less consistent as they depend on your game progress, it's still a good idea to participate in them to build up your supply of level-up materials.
