How to get the People of the Valley of Life Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact

People of the Valley of Life is a Genshin Impact Wonders of the World Achievement that you can obtain by solving a hidden puzzle in The Chasm: Underground Mines. Apart from unlocking the Achievement, the puzzle will also reward you with a Shriveled Seed, an item connected to the Sumeru World Quest called Static Views, Part 2.

How to solve the Elemental Monument puzzle southwest of The Chasm: Main Mining Area in Genshin Impact

Before starting, make sure that you have access to The Chasm: Main Mining Area. It would help if you light up the World Map to make it easier to maneuver.

Head to the Teleport Waypoint south of The Chasm: Main Mining Area, then head to the direction the arrow is pointing to in the image above. You'll find yourself at the edge of the broken platform beside a Pressure Plate.

Next, glide toward the wooden platform and climb up to the brightly-lit cave entrance, where the arrow is pointing in the image above. If the Seelie is still on the wooden platform, you can follow it as it will lead you toward the cave.

Once you enter the cave, you'll immediately be met with a dead end. However, you can open up a path by destroying the boulder blocking the way. Use Geo Damage or a claymore user to destroy the barrels, forcing the blockage to explode. You'll find a beautiful view of a giant tree reminiscent of Sumeru.

You'll find three locked Elemental Monuments and one locked Chest. You must first unlock the Elemental Monuments by looking for three shiny buds in any order. Turn on Elemental Sight to locate them.

Shiny bud #1 location

The first shiny bud is located on the giant branch above the Anemo Monument. Climb the tree and head toward the branch, regularly turning on Elemental Sight to keep track of the bud's location. Interact with it to unlock the Anemo Monument.

Shiny bud #2 location

The second shiny bud is located on the tree branch beside the Electro Monument. Climb the tree, head toward the branch, and consider turning on Elemental Sight to help you keep track of the bud's location. Interact with it to unlock the Electro Monument.

Shiny bud #3 location

The third shiny bud is located on a low branch by the water across from the Geo Monument. Climb the branch and consider turning on Elemental Sight to help you keep track of the bud's location. Interact with it to unlock the Geo Monument.

Once all the Elemental Monuments have been unlocked, apply the appropriate Elements to activate them. And when all three are activated, the Exquisite Chest will unlock. Loot it to get the Shriveled Seed, and the Hidden Achievement called People of the Valley of Life.
