How to light up The Chasm Underground Mine in Genshin Impact

Follow the main questline.

Whenever a new location is released in Genshin Impact, the World Map is completely blacked out, making it difficult to traverse the area. Interacting with the first Statue of The Seven typically solves the issue, as is the case for The Chasm above-ground. But the Underground Mines work a little differently, as it doesn't contain a Statue of The Seven.

The Underground Mine's World Map is lit up in parts, following the main area questline: The Chasm Delvers. Keep in mind that you can still traverse the entire map without lighting it up, but it can prove to be a little inconvenient.

Here are the quests you need to do to unlock every part of the Underground Mine, as well as relevant guides to help you complete them.

How to Enter The Chasm and Underground Mine in Genshin Impact

Initiate The Chasm Charters from Lan beside the Liyue Adventurer's Guild. This marks the start of The Chasm Delvers World Questline and will be the key to officially entering The Chasm and the Underground Mine.

After completing The Chasm Charters, the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering will immediately start. Completing it will unlock The Chasm Spelunkers, which will prompt you to enter the Underground Mine through The Chasm's Maw.

Once you gain access to the Underground Mine, you can freely explore it and unlock all Teleport Waypoints. However, you can only light up the World Map by completing the entire questline, which ends with Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend.
