How to solve the Cube and Lightning Probe puzzle in Mouun Shrine Genshin Impact

Follow along to get a coveted Luxurious Chest.

Inazuma is filled with plenty of puzzles that don't make sense at first glance. Part of this lineup of confusing puzzles is the two-part Cube and Lightning Probe puzzle that can be found in the Mouun Shrine of Watatsumi Island.

The Mouun Shrine is a relatively small area. Walk straight ahead from the Statue of The Seven and you'll find a destroyed structure with two unlit Electro Lamps. Your goal is to light both of them up. Start by heading to the area marked with an orange circle on the map below.

Cube Puzzle

There, you'll find the first part of this puzzle: the Cube section. It looks complicated at first—but don't worry as it's really easy to do! Your goal is to move the Cubes until they're all facing inward. Hitting one Cube won't prompt another to move, so you can move them in any order.

You can use the image below as a reference to understand where the lit-up section of each Cube should be facing toward.

Once all the Cubes are facing the right direction, the Electro Seelie will appear in the middle of the puzzle and will move once you approach it. Follow its lead to light up the first Electro Lamp, which is located in the area marked with a red circle in the map at the start of this guide.

For the second puzzle, head to the area marked with a yellow circle on the map shown at the start of this guide. There, you'll find a Lightning Probe puzzle, where two of the mechanisms are locked. Simply head to the nearby cliff and interact with the Watatsumi Statue to unlock all three Lightning Probes.

Like any other Lightning Probe puzzle, your goal is to move the mechanisms until they face the right direction. They can detect Electro and will move based on the Electro's direction. Typically, you can use an Electrograna or an Electro Skill to help move these Probes. However, the puzzle contains two Electro Seelies that constantly move around and change the direction of each mechanism.

Solve the puzzle by standing in the same area indicated in the image above (assuming that the Watatsumi Statue is on the cliff at the right). Simply stand there and make small movements to prompt the Electro Seelies to move. After a while, the Seelies will eventually direct the Lightning Strike Probes to face the right direction.

A third Electro Seelie will appear on the cliff by the Watatsumi Statue. Follow it to light up the second Electro Lamp. Completing this puzzle will reward you with a Luxurious Chest.
