How to solve the puzzle on top of The Mausoleum of King Deshret in Genshin Impact

Act fast to solve the beam puzzle.

The Mausoleum of King Deshret lives in Genshin Impact's Hypostyle Desert. It houses plenty of secrets, including a frustrating beam puzzle at the top of the building. To solve it, you need to get rid of obstacles and race against the clock to move cells to the right positions. You'll be rewarded with a Luxurious Chest.

How to solve the beam puzzle at the top of The Mausoleum of King Deshret in Genshin Impact

Head to the top of the Mausoleum of King Deshret from a path in Duat Hall, where you'll find a huge puzzle waiting. There are multiple beams, floating platforms, and objects that you can interact with, but the solution is fairly simple.

Part 1: Remove platforms

First, you must remove four platforms, which are blocking the trajectory of the beams. They're located in the four corners of the area and can be removed in any order. Keep in mind that these are all non-moving platforms. Ignore the moving ones!

To remove the platforms, simply step on them and wait until they disappear. There's no time limit for this so you don't have to hurry.

Part 2: Rotate Cell

After all four platforms have disappeared, interact with an Hourglass to Flip it. This will create Four-Leaf Sigils that will take you to the platforms floating in the middle of the clearing. You must propel yourself to the lower platform with the four beams and an unlocked Cell at the center (pictured above). It's the one below the highest floating platform.

Rotate the Cell twice so that a blue beam appears. Once you're done, you can move on to the next step.

Part 3: Move Cell

There are three mechanisms located in the north, east, and south of the area. You need to interact with each mechanism to Move Cell, then jump down and Flip the Hourglass to spawn Four-Leaf Sigils. Use those Four-Leaf Sigils to head to the next mechanism, and repeat the process until all three Cells have been moved.

This part is time-limited (but without a timer), so you must act as quickly as possible. If you fail, don't worry as you can try as many times as you need. We recommend doing it in this order: east > south > north. You have to use the Four-Leaf Sigils, or you won't have enough time to move all the Cells within the time limit. Don't pause in between either.

Once done, quickly propel yourself to the highest floating platform at the center of the clearing using Four-Leaf Sigils. Then interact with the mechanism on the edge (not the one at the center) to Rotate Cell twice. A blue beam will connect with the obelisk, completing the puzzle. Don't forget to claim the Luxurious Chest for your effort.
