The Hyakunin Ikki event, which runs from March 18, 2022, to March 29, 2022, is set in a free-for-all fighting tournament, where you can battle waves of enemies with the help of Transmission Arts and Normal Secret Arts.
You can set up two skills for each team before entering the Challenge Domain. You need to have a total of six teams, which consist of one to two characters each, giving you up to twelve skills to play with per round.
How to Choose Skills
There are no limits as to what combination of skills to use, so you can use two Transmission Arts or Normal Secret Arts at a time or one of each in any given party. But it's highly recommended to pick skills that pair well with your characters of choice, while also pairing well together.
Keep these into consideration when picking skills:
- Determine what your characters need. If your main DPS is Cryo (such as Ayaka), then the Frigid Regimen is a no-brainer, as it offers a 60 percent Cryo boost to all team members.
- Determine what your characters lack. If your characters don't have any crowd-control abilities (such as Childe), the Lion's Maw is extremely helpful in sucking enemies toward you.
- Choose skills that enhance your characters' abilities. If you have a shielder (such as Zhongli, Diona, or Thoma) in your party, the Radical Dispersal is a great way to get additional DPS. Meanwhile, Normal Attack-dependent characters could use the Twin Sin-Sundering Eyes for additional DPS.
- Double Transmission Arts isn't always better. For instance, if you have a character like Yoimiya, who becomes extra-powerful with additional Attack Speed and Pyro Damage, a combo of Accidental Intent and Fiery Banishment is a lot better than slotting in Twin Sin-Sundering Eyes.

Best Arts in Hyakunin Ikki
All Arts are amazing and have their uses, but these skills are particularly fun to play around with—so give them a shot!
- Accidental Intent—provides an Attack Speed boost on top of HP regeneration using Normal Attacks. It will make your Attacks super-fast.
- Lion's Maw—the best crowd-control skill that brings enemies toward you. There's no need to chase enemies with this extremely useful Art.
- Moonshadow Fall—allows even non-Xiao characters to jump high enough to do consistent Plunge Damage! It's extremely fun to play with, especially when using Physical Damage or Normal Attack characters.
- Whitewater Wave—it will summon a Hydro field, which makes proccing Vaporize a whole lot easier!
- We're on Fire!—this significantly increases the Fervor generation rate, which is great if you don't have a good DPS unit in the team.
