In Genshin Impact, each element is ruled by an Archon who helps keep the balance in the world of Teyvat. The Archon of Pyro is named Murata, the God of War and battle. Not much has been said about Murata in the past, but the name has come in teasers for upcoming content for the popular RPG. So, who is Pyro Archon in Genshin Impact? Here’s everything to know about Murata so far.
Genshin Impact Pyron Archon Murata rumors
We know from Genshin Impact lore that Murata rules over her descendants, the flame-haired Muratans. They’re an uncommon warlike race dedicated to Murata’s battle ideology. They are from Natlan, the upcoming Pyro region coming to the game. So, it is logical to think the two will come hand-in-hand.
Players watching the Teyvat Storyline Trailer on YouTube will have seen much talk of the God of War, who has no love left for her people. And they have no love left for her, only staying loyal in the hope of being on the right side when the rebellion against the divine comes. War is coming. And war means Pyro Archon Murata.
We haven’t seen official images yet, but you can be sure Murata will be a fiery redhead with powerful combat abilities. Fan speculation is split on which weapon she’ll use. Some presume she’ll use her fists, as the people of Natlan practice boxing as a martial art. Others guess at a giant Claymore sword, as an incredibly similar character in Honkai Impact 3rd wields one.
Several lines can be drawn between the two games, as Murata also has flame-red hair and is described as a flame-touched Muratan (pictured above). Fans have noted big connections between the two games since Genshin Impact’s release.
It is hoped that Murata, and the nation of Natlan, will arrive in Genshin Impact in 2023. But for now, it remains a speculative date.
