First, Forbidden Sands locked Nornir chest in God of War Ragnarök

There are two Nornir chests to find in God of War Ragnarök, the first out in the open during the second in the Light Elves' tomb. Here is where to find all torches for the two Nornir chests in the Forbidden Sands in God of War Ragnarök.

Where to find the first torch for the first Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands Alfheim

The first torch is found directly to the right of the Nornir chest. Simply use the Blades of Chaos to ignite it.

Where to find the second torch for the first Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands Alfheim

Leave the small area with the Nornir chest by crawling under the fallen pillar. You will spot the second torch on a tall rock in front of you. Have Freya create a link with her magic and ignite it with the Blades of Chaos.

Where to find the third torch for the first Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands Alfheim

Facing the tall rock with the second torch, look to your right. The third and final torch will be under the rocky overhanging. Create a link again with Freya's magic, and then strike it with the Blades of Chaos. The reward from the first Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands is a Horn of Blood Mead.

Second, Forbidden Sands locked Nornir chest in God of War Ragnarök

The torches for this chest require some precise placement of Freya's magic. Use our images below to see where to place these marks to activate all torches for the second Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands.

Where to find the first torch for the second Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands Alfheim

The first torch can be found to the left of the second Nornir chest, across the gap, in the Forbidden Sands. Have Freya use her magic to target the fire next to the torch. This will automatically light the torch.

Where to find the second torch for the second Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands Alfheim

On the opposite side, you will spot the second torch across the gap and underneath the cave ceiling. You will need to use Freya's magic to link a trail from the fire to the torch. Place two marks down and increase them to full size—make sure they touch one another, the fire, and the touch. Then use Freya to ignite the fire and light the torch.

Where to find the third torch for the second Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands Alfheim

The third torch can be found directly above the second torch through the door Freya can open with her magic. Create two points with her magic, connecting the second torch to the third torch. Quickly have Freya open the door and ignite the second torch to light the third. The reward for the second Nornir chest in the Forbidden Sands is an Idunn Apple.
