Where to find the three torches to unlock the Nornir chest at Well of Urd in God of War Ragnarök

God of War Ragnarök expands upon much of its predecessor but carries over many familiar features. This includes chests sealed shut with runic magic. To open these locked Nornir chests, you must complete various puzzles, including the one in the Well of Urd. This may leave you wondering how to open the Nornir chest in Midgard's Well of Urd in God of War Ragnarök.

You can find the Nornir Chest in the Well of Urd at the location marked in the image above. The three torches needed to unlock this chest are all fairly close, but you will need to climb to find them all. Here is where to find all torches for the Nornir Chest in the Well of Urd in God of War Ragnarök.

Torch #1

The first torch is found in the same area as the Nornir Chest. Simply turn around and find it on the small rocks behind it. Strike it with your Blades of Chaos to ignite it.

Torch #2

Climb and grapple your way up the rocky cliffs. When you reach the path where Freya asks you to cut a path through the ice, turn around and find the second torch on the cliffs to the left of the ice wall. Ignite it with the Blades of Chaos.

Torch #3

Instead of going through the ice, use the drop-down in front of the ice wall. To your left is the second torch. Use the Blades of Chaos to ignite it.

How to open the Nornir Chest in the Well of Urd in God of War Ragnarök

With all three bells struck, return to the Nornir Chest, which will be glowing gold. Open it to collect your rewards. This chest contains a Horn of Blood Mead, increasing your rage after gathering three.
