Once crafted, place it down anywhere, and you can start crafting bonemeal by following the steps listed below.
How to use a Composter in Minecraft
To use a composter, you will need to first make one and then place it on the ground. After this, you will need to fill it up with compostable materials/items; you can turn many things into bonemeal, so check the list below for all of the items you can use in a composter.

Chances are you already have one or more of these items lying in various chests in your base. If that's the case, go and find these items and head over to your newly crafted composter. When you are your composter, use your interaction key to put the item inside the composter; keep doing this until it looks like the image above.Â
Once it shows white at the top of the composter, click it once, and the bonemeal will fly out of it nearby. After that, you can then use your bonemeal for various things like making trees or crops grow faster.
