There are currently four different types of grenades in Halo Infinite, and each offers a unique form of an explosion that can eliminate and destabilize opposing Spartans. You can only carry four grenades, two of each type at a time. However, they spawn across each map and can be picked up after regular intervals. Here's everything you need to know about the four types of grenades and how to use them in Halo Infinite Multiplayer:

Frag Grenade

Perhaps the oldest grenade in the Halo series makes its return in Halo Infinite. The standard Frag works similar to its predecessors, one bounce off any surface it touches before detonating. Players will start most rounds with these already in their inventory. Use them carefully to create openings when the enemy bogs down your team. Pre-emptive grenade throws are exceedingly useful if you know where the opposing Spartans will push from.

Plasma Grenades

Plasma Grenades stick on to enemies and can eliminate them instantly. Players have to be absolutely spot on with their aim to get a grenade to stick on the opponent. A well-placed Plasma instantly elevates the enemy before exploding in mid-air. Even if you fail to stick the grenade, they do significant damage to the opponent Spartans caught close to the blast radius.

Dynamo Grenade

The Dynamo Grenade reacts differently and creates an electric field pulse that does constant damage to enemies close by. This grenade works best over time and drains the opponents down to vulnerable health. The Dynamo grenade also disables any vehicles caught inside its electric field. The grenade has a bouncing mechanic, and it keeps bouncing until the electric field stops.

Spike Grenade

The Spike Grenade works similar to the Plasma as it can instantly kill any Spartan on direct contact. However, Spike Grenades can also stick to a wall, and it is best used to bait opponents who are chasing you. For the best results, you should stick them close to a wall where your opponents will enter.
