Gunplay is easily one of the most important aspects of any FPS. But for Halo, using the right weapons and knowing where to find them on any given map is essential to winning matches and overcoming any firefight. Here is a full guide on all the weapon spawn locations for the multiplayer map Launch Site.
Launch Site is a bit of a weird map in its layout but still offers a ton of tactical variety and open space, even enough for a few vehicles. And when it comes to weapons, this map doesn't hold back. There are 16 weapon spawn locations, plus two power weapon spawn points. Let's start with one side of the map, then the other, and finally everything in between.
Starting on the side with the rocket, there are five weapon spawn locations and a power weapon spawn point.
Starting in the back of the Launch Side is the Launch Tower. This is where one team will spawn at the beginning of the match. When you spawn in, there will be a weapon spawn location right in front of you.
Launch Tower Two
Players can find another weapon spawn location just to the right of the previous one. Travel down a ramp, and the weapon will be right there against a wall.
Travel up to the second floor of the Launch Tower and make your way onto the outside catwalk. To the right of the rocket ship will be another weapon spawn location.
Make your way out of the Launch Tower to the left. Go past the vehicle to reach the large elevator at the center of the room. Here you will find another weapon spawn location.
Not far from the elevator weapon spawn is another weapon. You'll find it just to the right of the little Tunnel Drop opening.
Back up on the catwalk, travel to the left to reach a small area called Sneaky. Here you will find the power weapon spawn point on the Launch side of the map.
Now for the opposite side of the map, known as the Bunker Side. Here, you will find five weapon spawn locations and a power weapon spawn point.
Starting with the Bunker itself, this is where one team will spawn at the beginning of a match. Right in front of you when you spawn in will be two weapon spawn locations on either side of the glass windows.
Just on the other side of those windows is another weapon spawn location. It is against a wall in an area called Bunker Platform.
Travel up and to the left of the bunker to reach the Bunker Nest. Another weapon spawn location will be in this area against the wall.
Make your way to the right of the bunker. Go past all the vehicles and up to the launcher that carries you across the gap to the Launch Site. Here you will find another weapon spawn location.
Leave the Bunker to the left and travel outside, following the street. An area known as the Comms Tower is where the weapon spawn point is.
Between the two starting sides of the map, there are six more weapon spawn locations. Let's start in the tower next to the Launch Site for these.
On the bottom level of the tower is the basement floor. Here you can find a weapon spawn location. You can get to this area by dropping down from the Trench or the Bottom Catwalk.
Tower Level 2
From the basement, make your way up to the second floor. This area is referred to as Tower 2. There is another weapon spawn location against the wall, right next to the window.
Players can find the next weapon in the Operations building. This building is pretty centrally located between the Launch Site and the Bunker. This building's second floor is where the weapon spawn location is.
Helpful note: If you look out the window where the previous weapon spawn was, you will see it across from you, to the left.
Like the previous helpful note, this weapon spawn location can be seen from the Operations Tower. Look across the street, and you will see it on a raised platform area, right next to a plasma coil. This area is called Security.
Just below the Operations building is an area called the Trench. On the Bunker side of the Trench, you can find another weapon spawn location.
The last weapon spawn location is in an area called Closet. It is located next to the main bridge that stretches over the street below. Players can also reach this area via the Operations building or a gravity lift closer to the Bunker side of the map.
