Best Controller Settings for Halo Infinite

The Halo series began on Xbox but has been available on PC for some time now. Still, players may feel more comfortable on a controller than a mouse and keyboard. That being said, the control scheme for Halo Infinite has changed some buttons due to new features.

With more zoom weapons and equipment, button placements have moved around on a controller but can be swapped. These are the best controller settings we recommend for Halo Infinite.

  • LT: Zoom
  • RT: Shoot
  • LB: Throw Grenade
  • RB: Melee
  • Left Stick: Sprint
  • Right Stick: Crouch/Slide
  • Y: Switch Weapon (Hold) Switch Equipment
  • B: Use Equipment
  • X: Reload/Vent/ (Hold) Interact
  • A: Jump
  • D-Pad Up: Mark/Helmet Light
  • D-Pad Left: Grenade Switcher
  • D-Pad Down: AI Scan
  • D-Pad Right: Drop Weapon

Sensitivity

  • Look Sensitivity (Horizontal): 6.0
  • Look Sensitivity (Vertical): 6.0
  • Look Acceleration: 5
  • Move: Center Deadzone: 6.5
  • Look: Center Deadzone: 6.5
  • Move: Max Input Threshold: 0
  • Look: Max Input Threshold: 10
  • Move: Axial Deadzone: 6.5
  • Look: Axial Deadzone: 0

Keep in mind that both this control scheme and sensitivity settings are subjective and may not feel right to you. Play with and tweak these settings in Bot Bootcamp to find the setting that feels perfect for you before jumping into multiplayer.
