The Halo multiplayer experience has always had numerous game modes to enjoy. This includes deathmatch and objective game modes. But with the launch of Halo Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer, there has been both a lack of popular game modes and even a way to select which one to play.
Fortunately for angry fans, 343 Industries has added Free For All (FFA) to Halo Infinite's multiplayer. This update went live on Dec. 14, 2021. With this update, players can now select which game mode they want to play.

With the addition of playlists, you might be wondering how to play these new game modes and playlists. Simply go to the multiplayer tab and scroll down until you see the Free For All playlist. Then just select it and start your game as normal.
While this is a step in the right direction, some fans believe this should have been included at launch. Also notably absent is the Infection game mode, a classic Halo game mode that many want. Hopefully, this is a first step that will eventually bring Infection to Halo Infinite.
