While playing Halo Infinite online, you might notice that some players in a match have different styles of nameplates or different service tags than the random string of numbers and letters you're assigned. The good news: this is something you can do as well and for free. All you need to do is head to the customization menu to change it!
How to change your Spartan ID
The first thing you'll need to do is go to the home menu that you see when you first load the game. Select the Customization tab in the top left of your screen to navigate to the customization menu. Then, on the left side of the screen, select Spartan ID at the bottom of the list. Use the image below for reference.

From this menu, you can change everything about your Spartan ID. The list below provides a general outline of what each option does.
- Service Tag: The string of four letters or numbers that appears under your name in your Spartan ID.
- Voice: The voice of your Spartan when they make callouts.
- Nameplate: The image that appears on the left of your Spartan ID.
- Palette: The color scheme of the image in your Spartan ID.
- Backdrop: The design that appears behind your Spartan ID.
- Stance: The pose your Spartan does at the end of a match.
Once you have selected any of the options above, be sure to press Equip if you find something you want to change it to. Otherwise, it won't show up when you play matches.
