How to send friend requests to recent players in previous matches in Halo Infinite Multiplayer

Let's do this again sometime.

Sometimes, after a match in Halo Infinite, you realize that you and your teammate worked well together. Naturally, you'll want to send a friend request to that person so you can play more in the future. Fortunately, there is an easy way to do that in the Main Menu.

To send a friend request to players you've played with recently, you must know what match it was that you played with them and their username. This means that the best time to send a friend request to people you recently played with (or even against) is right after your match. However, you can send requests to players who have been in the last several matches with you.

From the Main Menu, press the button to view the Social Panel. The default key to do this on PC is Tab, and the default button for Xbox is the View button. Navigate to the Recent tab at the top when you're on the Social Panel. Use the image below on the left for reference.

On the Recent tab, you will find a list of all the players in the matches you've recently played. Scroll through the list of players and select the player you'd like to add as a friend. Then, select Profile from the side menu that pops up. Select Gamercard on the next menu to view their Xbox Gamercard (shown in the image above on the right).

On their Xbox Gamercard, select the Add Friend option. Confirm it on the next page, and the friend request will be sent to that player. Once they accept, they will be added to your friend list!
