All 6 Astronomy Wing Collection Chest Locations in Hogwarts Legacy

Collection Chests are a unique type of chest in Hogwarts Legacy which can reward players with powerful traits, or unlock new items for their Room of Requirement. Collection Chests are scattered across the map in every region, and each region has a specific number of these chests. In the Astronomy Wing of Hogwarts, a total of six Collection Chests can be found. In this guide, we'll tell you how to find all Collection Chests in the Astronomy Wing in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy: All Astronomy Wing Collection Chests

As mentioned prior, the Astronomy Wing contains a total of six Collection Chests that players will find. However, keep in mind that you must have the unlocking spell Alohomora upgraded to open level two, and level three locks. With that said, the following are the locations of all six Collection Chests in the Astronomy Wing.

Collection Chest #1

The first Collection Chest can be found inside Professor Fig's Classroom. Fast travel to Professor Fig's Classroom Floo Flame point which is found in the Astronomy Wing section of the Hogwarts map. Once you reach it, enter Professor Fig's classroom. The Collection Chest will be on your left as you enter the room, beside the birdcage.

Collection Chest #2

The fastest way to get to the second Collection Chest in the Astronomy Wing is by fast traveling to the Central Hall Floo Flame point located in The Library Annex section of the map. Once you reach it, travel down the stairs toward the fountain in the middle of the hall, and then turn left and go down the flight of stairs. On your right-hand side will be an animal symbol door puzzle. Solve the puzzle to open the door, and the Collection Chest will be inside.

Collection Chest #3

For the third Collection Chest, fast travel to the Transfiguration Courtyard Floo Flame point. Once you reach it, enter the castle through the door next to the Floo Flame. After entering, look diagonally to your right to find a door. Enter through it, and you will find the Collection Chest sitting on a table.

Collection Chest #4

A Collection Chest can be found near the Charms Classroom in the Astronomy Wing. Fast travel to the Charms Classroom Floo Flame point, and then head towards the end of the room to find another animal symbol door puzzle. As usual, solve the puzzle to open the door, and you will find the Collection Chest to your left as you enter the room.

Collection Chest #5

A Collection Chest can be found on the rooftop above Professor Fig's Classroom. The easiest way to reach here is by fast traveling to Professor Fig's Classroom Floo Flame point, and then head through the corridor with carpets hanging from the walls, leading you to a flight of stairs. Go up the stairs, and then turn left from the statue of a person holding a globe. You will then come across two consecutive flights of twisting stairs. Go up these stairs to exit onto a rooftop where you will find the fifth Collection Chest in the Astronomy Wing.

Collection Chest #6

The final Collection Chest from the Astronomy Wing can be found in the Dungeons under the Transfiguration Classroom. Fast travel to the Transfiguration Classroom Floo Flame point. Once you reach it, you will find a door opposite of the Floo Flame. Enter through the door, and then turn right and keep going down the flight of stairs. Upon entering the Dungeons, keep going down until you come across the statue of the sleeping dragon. Opposite of the statue of the sleeping dragon will be a path that goes straight to a room with a level three lock. Use Alohomora to unlock the door, and you will find the final Collection Chest of the Astronomy Wing to your right as you enter the room.
