All Hogsmeade Valley Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy

There are many treasure chests for you to find in Hogwarts Legacy, and most of them contain gear, but Collection Chests hold something else entirely. You can find collectible items like Wand Handles, Conjuration Spells, and Traits—so here's where to find all eight Collection Chests around Hogsmeade Valley in Hogwarts Legacy.

Where to find all Hogsmeade Valley Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy

There are eight Collection Chests to be found in this area of the Highlands map. This does not include any part of the actual town of Hogsmeade. Four chests can be found around the Upper Hogsfield Hamlet, two are found in Bandit Camps, and a final two are in the Overlook Mine, which you will not have access to until you have completed the In the Shadow of the Mine Main Quest.

All Upper Hogsfield Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy

These four chests contain two random Conjuration Spells and two random Wand Handles. You'll only need Alohomora level one to collect all four.

First Upper Hogsfield Collection Chest

From the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame, enter this first house on your left. It holds a Wand Handle Collection Chest behind the partition separating the room.

Second Upper Hogsfield Collection Chest

Go one more house down. This Collection Chest is hidden behind a wooden wall. It contains a random Conjuration Spell for your Room of Requirement.

Third Upper Hogsfield Collection Chest

Nearby the main courtyard you'll spot a house with a small circular tower and a straw roof. This house has the level one lock that you'll need to break open. There's a Conjuration Spell Collection Chest inside near the door.

Fourth Upper Hogsfield Collection Chest

The last collection chest is inside a small shack in the northwest corner of the hamlet. It holds a new Wand Handle.

All Bandit Camp Hogsmeade Valley Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy

The two Bandit Camps you are searching for are Medium Bandit Camps between the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame and the Overlook Mine. Both camps have Loyalist enemies for you to fight. The Collection Chests here have Traits for you to collect. In the southern camp, you can find the chest inside the pitched tent. In the northern camp, the chest is hidden behind a red crate piled up next to the tent.

All Overlook Mine Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy

There are two Collection Chests to find in the Overlook Mine. They both contain Conjuration Spells for the Room of Requirement.

First Overlook Mine Collection Chest

The first Overlook Mine Collection Chest can be found shortly after encountering enemies in the first large cavern of the dungeon. In the back left corner of the space is a wide opening. The Collection Chest is in there. It will be covered in spider webs, so use Incendio or Confringo to clear them away and loot the chest.

Second Overlook Mine Collection Chest

You'll need to go further down into the Overlook mine for this one. After repairing a bridge and fighting some spiders, you'll be presented with a fork in the road. Go right, with the danger sign. You'll find Devil's Snare covering the tunnel. Use Lumos to repel the plant and walk through. The Collection Chest will be in a small alcove on your right.
