All Puzzle Objects in Hogwarts Legacy and Which Spells To Use On Them

Hogwarts Legacy allows you to live out your fantasy of joining the Harry Potter world. Become a witch or wizard and master spells, potion-making, and puzzle-solving. Scattered throughout Hogwarts are various puzzles, many of which are objects. This may leave you wondering how to solve all object puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to solve all Puzzle Objects in Hogwarts Legacy

Moth Mirrors

• Spell - Lumios
• Reward - Field Guide Pages

Activate the mirror to see a location's image. Go to that location and use the Lumios spell. Can only be done after completing the Like a Moth to a Flame quest.

Flying Pages

• Spell - Accio
• Reward - Field Guide Pages

When you see a floating page, use the Accio spell to pull it toward you.

Orb Statues

• Spell - Levioso
• Reward - Field Guide Pages

Use the Levioso spell on the statue.

Dragon Statue

• Spell - Incendio
• Reward - Field Guide Pages

Cast the Incendio spell to light the dragon brazier.

Gargoyle Statue

• Spell - Incendio/Confringo
• Reward - Field Guide Pages

Use the Incendio spell to light the gargoyle brazier. Confringo can be used if the statue is too far to reach with Incendio.

Arithmancy Door

• Spell - None
• Reward - Collectible Objects/Gear

Rather than a spell, you must use math. Rotate the ? and ?? orbs to match the animal that equals the addition or subtraction of the show numbers. Here is how to solve the puzzle doors in Hogwarts Legacy.

House Cabinets

• Spell - None
• Reward - House Token

Locate flying keys and follow them to locked cabinets. This will fly into the keyhole and open the cabinet. You must complete The Daedalian Keys quest before you can do these.

Eye Chest

• Spell - Disillusionment
• Reward - Coins

Cast the Disillusionment spell to become invisible. Approach the chest and open it.

Owl Statue

• Spell - None
• Reward - Chests

You do not need to use a spell on this object. Instead, simply interact with it to reveal a secret chest hidden behind the wall.

Locked Door

• Spell - Alohomora
• Reward - Varies

Cast the Alohomora spell to unlock the door. You will need to upgrade this spell at Demiguise Statues to open higher-level locks.

Demiguise Statue

• Spell - Revelio
• Reward - Upgrades Spells

You must use the Revelio spell to locate these statues. They will only appear at night after receiving Gladwin Moon's quest.

Astronomy Table

• Spell - None
• Reward - Varies

Astronomy tables are available after completing Astronomy Class. Once you complete the class, you can interact with Astronomy tables found in Hogwarts and other locations.

Merlin Trial

• Spell - Varies
• Reward - Challenge Points
